I plan to be hitting the junkyards sometime this week. I'm not really looking for anything in-particular other than a set of heads for my ranger( i am swapping to higher compression heads [95-99] to replace my low compression heads, pull n pay has a surplus.) However i could always use more junk, and have enough vehicles/projects that wondering around may be beneficial. The only junkyard i am really familial with is U Pull N Pay off of Broadway and 64thish. What other good self service junkyards are around the metro area?

Western @ 6100 N Federal, just a hop-and-skip from the Denver UP&P you already know.

Pull-n-Save in Aurora was bought by LKQ, not a fun as it used to be: http://www.lkqselfserve.com/FindaLocation/LKQCentralSelfServeAutoParts/LKQAuroraSelfServeAutoParts/tabid/193/Default.aspx

CAP has a good reputation with many people, they close too early for me: http://www.coloradoautoandparts.com/

You can also hit up the UP&P yard in Aurora.

Colorado Auto Parts is certainly worth a visit, though their seat and some other prices can easily be beaten by the Pull and Pay. Most of their prices are comparable and they do have a big selection of stuff. Off the Santa Fe frontage road south of Hampden on the west side.

I am a fan of western auto recycling (i think that the right name). They always seem to have what I am looking for, and I never pay much for it, and you dont have to pay to get in the door.
