I finished shoe-horning some 35's under my truck today. it took a little longer than i thought it would but all things considered it went pretty well, 16 hours in all. I just moved so I didn't have all the tools i would have liked too but i got it done with a 4'' grinder, BFH, and my welder( one of the few things i did bring with me :D) so the first thing i did was clearance the fenders. i drew a line 1 1/8 above the existing fender line then traced that lightly with a cut off well trying only to remove about half the thickness of the sheet meal then made several incisions up to that line making "tabs" witch i then folded back. (sorry i forgot to take a pic of this before hand)

Then it was onto the fire wall, first i removed the fender and shock to see what needed trimmed at full compression and lock to lock.

Then a deep breath and

once i got every thing to fit i had to make some patch panels, using card board i made some templates then cut the panels out of 16 G steel. tacked them into place using said BFH to shape them

and finally some under coating, yes i know my welds are as ugly as sin. i was going to grind them all down but after the fire i just was not in the mood  luckily i cought it before it did too much damage. it toasted my hood release cable, clutch start switch,ARB harness, and the pwr wire's to my amps, this is another reason you should disconnect your batt with cutting/welding on your rig. Had there been power on the amp wires it would have gotten a lot worse real quick even though they are fused they probably would have taken out the main harness they run next to.
