Nice. My dad and his friend just got back from hunting and they bagged a 500-some pound Moose.

Nice! I lived in the foothill for over 10 years and a couple of the places I lived were on main elk paths. It was nothing to look out the window and see 70-80 elk walking by. Deer were the same. I have pictures and videos of deer and elk wandering around and sleeping right outside my house.

One day I opened the door to leave for work early in the AM and there was an rather large elk on my porch right in front of the front door-just like he had just rung the doorbell and was waiting for someone to open the door. I don't know who was more surprised, but it startled he hell out of me. You usually don't end up nose to nose with elk, especially first thing in the AM....

Another time the whole herd of elk was camped out in the large backyard. There were a lot of shade trees there and they formed a ring in the taller grass . There must have been at least 50 of them. I never even knew they were there until I went inside and walked to the back of the house and looked out the porch sliders.

Growing a garden in the foothills with all of the deer and elk presented some odd problems as they seemed pretty dialed into all the cool goodies you were growing....
