Anyone want to wheel this weekend?

I've heard Pete threaten to put a run up for T33 and some other stuff. I'd really like to get out.

This is all assuming I have my Jeep back before this weekend. I miss her...

I would be down to go wheeling but it would have to be Sunday as I work on Sat. :frown:

The nearest parts were in Milwaukee. I could have paid extra to have them shipped faster but because I didn't want to, they are on the back of a pack mule in the middle of Illinois by now. This is why I should have kept my old Jeep and renamed myself DrYoungUnit. Sounds like a porn star name doesn't it?

I have to make enough for a set of tires before doing any more runs. I am down to the tread/safety bars on the rears. Looking at $1200-1400 for a set of 4 so it may be a bit....Gotta do a few welding/fab jobs to get there.

Well, I'm definitely going somewhere this weekend because I have OCT 08-11 off...multiple trail runs hopefully. Penrose is pratically in my backyard so I am down to run that anytime I'm in town.


...would really like to hit up Grand Junction or Montrose before it starts snowing - never been on any of those trails.

What size tire are you looking for?

37-39", 13.50-15.50, for a 15" rim. Brand doesn't matter too much, but need a radial tire. Tread pattern doesn't matter too much either. Swamper: Trxxus, SSL, TSL, Nitto: Mud Grappler, Micky T: Baja Claw, Toyo: Open Country, Dick Cepek: Fun Country. Basically any big 15" fairly aggressive tread design. I am price shopping...

I have also run so many different tires that it really doesn't make that much of a difference to me what I have under it....with the exception of Boggers, of course. I still drive it to the trails..
