OK now that i have your attention I am needing info on where or what a chain link clutch came in. Yes i said CHAIN. On this scrambler there is a chain about the size of a motorcycle chain that is linked to the bell housing. My uncle said this chain is BIG. I have not seen this since my uncle has it and is trying to get some adjustment out of it. Word is that this system was done back in the 40's. From what he tells me is that the chain comes threw the firewall, under the seat and loops back to the bell housing. I may have this wrong and it may go from the bell housing to a sprocket under the body around the seat area and loop back to the pedal. Since i have not seen it i only know what he tells me. I need to see it for me to be able to understand it. So what we are wondering is what chevy model came with this set up, and what year? We are trying to get info on it to see if we can adjust it or if it has been modified in any way. Thanks in advance. :thumb:

Are you talking about something like this:

If it is, it sounds like Advance Adapters are the boys to go to.
