Anyone interested? I was up there today with my fiance...didn't make it, got high centered, almost rolled, then called it quits lol. It's not too bad, but we need a couple more rigs and a better built rig to break the trail as there is only an ATV track going through it. Snow is maybe a foot deep in the deepest spots. Let me know your thoughts...
Thanks,
Andrew

Sounds good. We almost plowed through the worst of what we could see, but we were alone and there was nothing to winch off of so we turned around fearing the worst. unless anyone highly objects I would say meeting time of around 8am. There's a dirt parking lot at the intersection of hwy 93 and 72. We can meet there, or if everyone is familiar with the trailhead area we can meet in Rollinsville...

You almost certainly won't get all the way to the Peak on this one, but it still looks fun. Just don't go anywhere you can't get back out.

Well our goal was to get to the enchanted forest. It looks like they came in off the I70 side.....We're not interested in getting to and over the peak, just to see the forest. Think that's possible from either side?

Looks like I am going to have to back out on this one, if it is still happening.

Thanks for letting me know, doesn't look like it's going to happen anyways. No one is showing any interest and the weathermen are calling for snow and rain.

That's the type of stuff I try to avoid with snow - no trees and nothing to stop you.

And nothing to winch you out....We slid half way off the trail while we were out and got high centered half way off the trail. Luckily there's lots of rocks up there and we slowly worked off, leveled the truck out and drove out :) If anyone's interested, we're still open to a trip up to the enchanted forest, even on short notice.
