I think i recall seeing footage of a US experiment vehicle in the past that had the same sort of movement method. Didnt go anywhere though. It is still interesting!

i dont think they have trails there... just wilderness so they have to make their own trails

Yeah, I guess that is kinda cute...novel , at any rate, if a little screwed up. I liked Rob's Fordson video a bit more as it seemed to be the original concept rig.

For a Russian off road machine, I have always like the Tatras. With 6-8 wheel drive, all locked up and with 4 wheel steering(all in the front) you can do quite a lot with them. Not to mention that they use them a lot as chase rigs for Dakar. Google Tatra trials to see more of these wild rigs...

The Russians do create some interesting rigs to say the least as do the Icelanders.
