I tried the "Ski Biking" thing a while back and had a ton of fun. Not quite the same thing as this, since its a bike with ski's on them and then you have seperate ones on your feet too. The Scoot version looks like a lot of fun too, though not something I would want to do every day on the mountain.
Is there anyone in Colorado that rents those and do the mountains even let you use them here?

There are a few sno bike rental places in all resort towns. Pretty much all of CO allows the ski bike in the various versions

I tried a more basic version of the thing that Aaron posted. It was a ton of fun, but I only did one run on it. This was back when I worked for Adventure Ridge at Vail and they took the employees out for the night time "snowbike" tour so we knew what they were about. Good to hear that they are letting the more "out there" snow sport apparatus on the mountains.

The snow scoot looks like a snowboard for old guys who don't like to fall down. I could go for that (or get behind it; pick the better colloquialism, Jock. :D)

There is actually a sno-bike association out there. While this is not a new idea it has not taken off. I have asked Santa for one for the last decade or so. One day!!

No, no that works fine there, not so good when mentioned with deserts served in pie tins. :D
