ok recently an invisible antifreeze leak has been notice on the blazer:confused:,the only thing that looked like it leaked at all was the lower radiator hose.... also the antifreeze is able to hit the fan as it made a line on the hood...... dont know if it is fixed yet but got a new lower rad hose and clamps ,new belts for the heck of it, and since the engine runs at a temp of about 130 degrees right now a new T stat that is a lil higher temp.......these are all in :wrench:and once a new rad cap is gotten tomorow (i forgot to buy one today) then can take her out again and see how she runs.......also in the northern springs there is about 2.5 to 3 inches of fluffy snow and everything was getting stuck from mustangs to giant brand new pickups....even a semi with full chains got stuck and the blazer never even spun the wheels and just buzzed right by them ...it was so amazing:cool:......the only guy to go faster than me was a new challenger with those Z chain things for cars............and if they reopen the interstate i am still planning on going to the new years run cause its still on yes ??

Oh, yeah, the run's still on. It should be a fun one.

I had a similar leak on the 40 a while back. I got new hoses (the lower one is a weird one on the 40) and clamps, but the leak stopped (after I tightened the clamp ever so slightly) so I haven't put the new ones on yet.

Doesn't hurt to throw a couple of clamps on the radiator hoses, either. Note only is the hose really sealed up, but it is a really great place to keep spare clamps if you or someone else needs one on a trail. I have double clamps on all my hoses: heater, radiator and fuel lines for just this reason.

I never thought of that! Good tip!

You are welcome Brad! I am just full of relatively worthless info....and the other info happens to come in handy....
