I was just reading about the volcano below Yellowstone on CNN.com and got a kick out of the map they used in a video. Just a clipof the screen, not linked to the video.

Of course we are Steve! I don't know if it'll be from this or not though.

I thought I'd move back to Minnesota to get a bit of distance but after looking at the map apparently MN won't fare any better than CO.

The super Volcano theory is pretty cool. California isn't what you call totally safe..There is a super volcano there as well as in new mexico and a lesser one in the san juans here. Its supposed to be one of those chain affects if one goes they all go shortly after. Dont forget about the ash! Remember how far the ash got from mt saint helens and it was just a zit in comparison to yellowstone.

If this thing pops maybe it will be the cure for Al Gore's global warming - when the ash blocks out the sun :lmao:

Pretty funny SCRubicon :lmao:

I kind of keep an eye on the caldera. I have enough stuff in the basement to hopefully get us rolling south. My family makes fun of me for it too and by no means am I a proper survivalist: I do not own an arsenal. Still, have masks, portable water, gear and a half acre in New Mexico on which I can pitch a tent. I just hope it is out of the kill zone. Yes, I have thought about it. Looks like my plan A in Utah will be a no.
