The last pic at the end of the first post I made was taken from the dirt road you can see from the trail below in the pic of dead horse point. White Rim trail.

I know you're the trail guy :) but isn't the trail right below dead horse Schafer? I think White Rim starts further west in the canyon.

Nice shot of Castleton Tower, The Priest, Nuns, Rectory in pic #4. Rock climbed on all of those formations. The shot taken from Dead Horse Point made me realize why getting up to Castleton always seemed a bit of a hump....It never looks that bad from the approach trail...

The first picture is rock climbers view from the approach trail. The second is Alec's from Dead Horse Point.

Yeah, you are right, I always think of that trail as part of White Rim.

I wouldn't have known but I was on that trail Saturday.
