Hello folks. I'd gotton referd here by some folks on an other forum so I thought I would give this a go. i have an 06' Tacoma that's a daily driver but would still like to meet up with people and hit some trails. I went out with some folks on this other forum to Eagle Rock and while it was fun it wasn't the best trail to take my truck on lol. Ah well, you learn. Welcome to the forum!

This is a great group and anyone will be happy to dial you into whether or not XXXX trail is one you can or want to run. In addition to our own Trail Resources and Trail reports, trail damage.com photos and videos will give you a very good idea if that particular trail is something that you want to do. Although almost all of their videos and photos show Jeeps, both stock and modified, they do tend to concentrate on pictures/videos of the harder obstacles, so it is a handy visual reference.

Without any sort of rock slider, or a lot of more than stock undercarriage protection, your main worries are going to be expensive (crunched) body damage and anything underneath that is more than the rather cheapo stock protection can handle. Thankfully, there are a huge number of trails that are good and that require no more than careful driving. Since a great many people here do not have hugely set up, modified, or armored rigs, the information that you get back in regards to what trails are going to work for you is going to be from that viewpoint. I usually tend to stay out of the 'suggesting trails' stuff due to how my heap is set up...

We took my wife's station wagon on Eagle Rock. We got through it unscathed, but it sure was intense in a few spots. :)
