Seen that before, too.

I guess it is really nice to have youtube videos around and everyone filming stuff like that. Now when you say "You can really f*** yourself and your rig up doing that" you can simply find the video and show a graphic illustration of what not to do. There are some real classics out there, too.

Google "Four wheeling accidents" or "off road accidents" plus videos and you will see a huge collection of how not to drive off road. There are actually video collections of the 'worst' 4x accidents, which is kind of a synopsis on stupidity. These should be a must see for people who get their first 4x rig and want to go off roading.

Ever notice that a very heavy right foot seems to have a lot to do with the accidents? And no prizes for being able to spot accidents where the driver and everyone else around is really jacked to the max on recreational drugs or booze....

Here is another all time classic:

Me neither. If your riding with me - you're wearing a seat belt. (Of course, there's no gaurantee you won't still get hurt...) but you're wearing a seat belt. End of story.

Oh man......that poor truck :frown:

Hahaa......they sure put that through its paces huh? That first big jump you can totally see it it break the axle (the tires went ultra negative camber). Definitely the good way to jump a truck. Supposedly they destroyed 7 trucks before they made a custom jumping one that moved the engine back a couple feet and did custom axles that wouldn't break. That custom truck took its beatings well and evidently was capable of a 14 foot fall or a 100 foot jump at 40mph while still remaining in full working condition. Heck of a truck for sure. Some guy bought it and lifted it even more and put bigger tires on. The ones on the show truck were the biggest available at the time and were 36's.

Still....can't beat a Baja Trophy Truck for taking huge jumps....

What's the name of that show? I lived a sheltered childhood and don't think I ever saw it.

Its called "the Fall Boy" and the premise is that the main character is a Stuntman that moonlights as a private detective. I think it was before my time too, but I looked up the info earlier.

Called The Fall Guy. Played on TV 81-86 and starred Lee Majors, et al.

OK show. One that I actually watched a couple of times before I stopped watching TV altogether. You can get all the seasons on DVD if you are so inclined...
