Got lucky and picked one up an Yoda Jim's. He said he had 4 but some guy called and bought three of them.

I installed it right above my empty radio slot. Hooking up the wiring for the backlight was easy.

Very cool. I've wanted one of those for a while. I just cant afford to buy one of those 4runner ones, I may just go with a smittybilt one that 4WP has.

i use mine a lot, although this weekend I had it maxed out both ways at once lol. it actualy helped, so now I know exactly where it is going to go over. you can also take them apart and take out the "limitor" in them so they will keep going past where 35-40 would be

those altimeters are getting expensive from what i can see. it would almost be a good idea to sell one if you had it, you could make some good $$ off of it. unless you customized it like i did than it makes it kinda worthless and priceless at the same time.

:lmao: I sold mine for $100, seems like the going price for a long time now. The problem with these is they only work accurately when you're stopped which is fine if you want to see what angle your at when getting real tippy. Nobody watches their angle using these when driving, everyone I know is looking at the rocks!

what are you saying Chris? you mean there are others that get through a tough obstacle only to look at their inclinometer and think "aww crap I should have looked!" :bang:

:lmao: The only times I wished I'd seen my angle was after coming close to flopping but I had my eyes closed!

Rob's the only guy I know that was able to observe his in crises conditions!

ive thought about ditching my inlicnometer and putting in one of those banana shaped bubble levels. that way i can stick it anywhere i want. like on my instrument cluster or on my halfdoors, for easier viewing while looking out my door. a buddy of mine always says that he uses the loudness of the cumpling metal sound to tell him how much of an angle he is at!:lmao:

I use my built-in fearometer. So far, it's never let me down!

I had one of those a year ago as well as the gauge cluster with the tach. Sold each in about a day of listing them on CL for $100 each. Hot demand I guess. I still have a tach gauge cluster for my 4Runner. Seems like a more functional option.

My stereo will be going in my center console....if I ever get around to it.

So I'll probably toss gauges of some sort in the stereo slot. Or maybe the switches for the flamethrower, smokescreen and ejection seat.

:lmao: That's only because I was too scared to look out the windows!

I wonder what the inclinometer would have showed when LaDawn flopped the rig rig last time (avatar picture). I know for a fact that she wouldn't have been looking at it. She was too busy doing the "OH ****!!!" routine....

Still, they are cool and a much sought after item. Practical....maybe. Cool and bling factor...very high....

The nice thing is the gauge cluster with the tach also as oil PSI and a trip odometer among other goodies. Still need to get around to putting in mine. Nice to have.
