So Hotchef and I are gonna head down and do Eagle Rock tomorrow (Saturday the 4th of June).

We'll do at last Eagle Rock and probably some of Saran Wrap too. Its a moderate to advanced trail with some chunky sections and some off camber stuff. I've never done the whole thing, but a moderately built vehicle with some chunky tires should be fine.

We are going to meet at the Home Depot at 2250 Southgate Road in Colorado Springs. Its a bit of a windy convoluted place to find, so having a central place close to the highway to meet is nice. Meeting time is 9:30am and we'll leave the parking lot by 10am to head up to the trail.

It is about 1-1.5 hours to Colorado Springs from Denver Metro area, so take that into account.

Here is a map of where the Home Depot is...

The road to Eagle Rock is Old Stage Coach road and starts behind the Broadmore Hotel area. Here is where the start of the dirt road is...

From there it is about a half hour drive to the trail itself. We'll probably air down before hitting Stage Coach road since it has a lot of washboard on it.

CB Channel 4, as is usual. Not sure if I'll have one myself, but it never hurts.

Should be a good day and a fun trail.

Also my passenger seat is open if someone wants to come that doesn't have gas money or issues with their rig. Wifey passed on this trip.

Mine passenger seat is vacant too, if anyone wants to ride.

I'm hoping people saw this run, since it kind of blends in with the Bill Moore Lake one and it only looks like one run. I think Red Rhino might be coming with us too. He just has to ask his Wife whether they have anything planned with the kids tomorrow.

p.s. As for the hi-lift thing, I'll probably just throw my floor jack in my tool box. Should be sufficient for anything we'll need to do tomorrow and its a lot safer and easier to stow.

Even better. Kinda tough to transport a floor jack in a tj and I hate hilifts.
