I have an 06 LJ with Truetracs front and rear, 31 BFG ATs, 1.5" wheel spacers, Garvin sliders, engine, steering and radiator plates, 2.5" Rough Country lift, 1" body lift; 33s and a high clearance belly pan coming soon. I'm from NY and my first wheeling experiences were in my first 4x4, a very used '79 Scout II Traveller, on the service roads around the Staten Island garbage dump... :eek: Colorado is WAY better. I'm into trails and seeing the backcountry more than rockcrawling, but I'll do whatever. Hope to run some trails with you soon!!

Welcome to the forum! I think you will both like this group and Colorado. We run trails of all difficulty levels, so you can pretty much pick and choose!

Somewhere there are some pics of the IH but I can't find them. Colorado is much nicer for sure!!

couldn't find IH pics, but here's my old 86 FJ60, 88 YJ and 81 Toy flatbed. All gone. The last pic is my Dad in Ethiopia with the Peace Corps, 1975.

I bet your dad has a few stories. Africa in the 70s ....and even today...is a fine example of the chaos theory...Also a fine showcase of American involvement in places where we have no business putting despots in power...or sticking our noses in...
