Trail: Slaughterhouse

Meeting place: Safeway in conifer at 3:45 leave safeway at 4:00

CB Channal: 4

Im planning on going up and doing slaughterhouse on wednesday.

The trail is moderate with a steep grades. There are some puddles but are not deep. The trail has some hard sections but there are bypasses around them. Most stock 4x4's can do the trail. Will be back off the trail by 6-6:30pm.

Conifer is along Hwy 285 about 14 miles from C-470. The trail is about 30 minutes from the safeway in conifer. The trail is off CR43A. I will be leading to the trail head.

Well, I would have thought that some of the weekdays off people would have signed up for this by now...

Ya me too but more people make the weekend runs.

I was just up there camping this last weekend, otherwise i would have went. If gas was cheaper i probably would of, but i cant see running that trail 2 times in one week. On a side note i did all the hill climbs following a group of jeeps. It was pretty entertaining when they told me that i wouldnt make it :rolleyes: (All jeeps in group were on 35's with locks at least in the rear, and 2 had them in the front.) 31's Open Diffs and no real flex, i followed them right up hahaha :D

Ya i went up about a week ago and its a close to trail to were i live and i wanted to get out today. I didnt go though cause the one rsvp besides me said that he could make it later in the day. Thats good that you had no trouble and showed them up, i haven't had that oppertuinty yet to do that. The trail was easy in a stock 4runner and i made it up the hills without any trouble and i have a locker and i didn't use it though. The hills were easy and fun it was fun though to watch people go up and not make it and spin and i had no trouble with it. But i did get good advice from the people i was with to do the hills and not have trouble.

Normally I'd be up for a weekday run but have too much going on right now. I hope to have more free time in a week or two.
