Anyone interested in MSV/Coney on July 2? Looks like the trail is going to open on June 25. Talked with the Ranger a little while ago and they think this is when the trail is giong to open. Longmont 4x4 club also has it posted as opening as the 25th (they sponser MSV). So its a good sign that its going to open. So I thought we could run it the weekend after? Anyone interested? If so, I'll get it posted in the next day or two

I would but there are only 4 techs on sat and it really sucks when one calls in sick. I have to work the previous sat as well, traded saturdays to make moab possible.
Contemplating a move to Land Rover. They are always closed on saturdays.

That would make going on runs a lot easier... good plan :)

Just a note that this trail run was changed to Twin Cone on the calendar, since MSV/Coney likely will still be closed. If you RSVP'd "yes" for the MSV run, you're now a "yes" for the Twin Cone run. If you don't want to go on the Twin Cone run, please change your RSVP to "no."

Thanks for the update Rob! Good idea.
FYI on MSV: I emailed the guys from Longmont 4x4. They attempted to run MSV and only got as far as the turn for MSV/Coney. So they are going to attempt the opening of the trail again on July 9th as there is still a great deal of snow at higher elevation. I'll keep in contact with them and see when we might be able to get MSV rescheduled for later in july.
But yes, we are going on Twin Cone this weekend.
