View Full Version : BUena Vista Last weekend

Jess and I went camping and did a few trails. We drove Hancock Pass, Pomery lakes a little ways in. Didn't do the entire trail due to snow and the fact it was just me and her. While out there we also found a very seldom used bike/hike trail. All in all a good time. As a side note the rivers up there are really moving, grab your raft/kayak and hit it up!

The River going up towards the trails. The area is full of water, you can see a lot of standing water in the forest on both sides.

Yep, this one we have had almost 3 years now. A lot different then the pop up I used to have.


That waterfall is awesome. Where is that?

Anges Falls, there is a trail head right across the street from the last campground before St. Elmo. It's only .5 miles to get in so it takes almost no time for a quick side trip.

Awesome!! I was wondering if Tincup was open yet, guessing its still a few weeks away from your pics. I'll just live through you for now.:)

Thanks for the pics! I will be headed that way this weekend. See how much more of the snow has melted.

Looks amazing! We are looking at camping at angel of shevano on 4th of July weekend. Just a family outing for now. Probably do some fishing and hiking, Billings Lake and Northfork are further up the road.

Looked like a great time. Didnt seem to be to much snow up there.
