Well I'm Errin, my wife is Jan. We moved to Idaho Springs from Kansas City this past October. Colorado is awesome, we always hoped to move out here. Turns out it's better than the dream. We're both in our early fifties living an extended childhood. Our Jeep is our favorite pastime. We met a few of your members this past weekend on Yankee Hill. Great people, not sure of their sanity. They followed me up the hill. We had a great time, wheeling is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE here than it was back home. Typical summer run weather 90-98 degrees 60-75% humidity, Dew points in the seventies and did I mentions bugs. Well mosquitoes the size of small birds and biblical swarms of flies. We are SO glad to be here.

I flew out to OHIO to get it because of the color. Jan wasn't very happy with me about buying it in the first place. I hoped since it was her favorite color it might help. The first time she was in it, she looked over and said " When are we going to get you one, this one's mine"

Welcome to the forum! I used to live in Lee's Summit, only lasted there 10 months too! (Must be the magic number).

Definitely loving it here in Colorado, this state has so much to offer and even places I've been a million times keep me coming back.

Wlecome to Frontrange 4x4. I was born in Kansas City, grew up south of Joplin, went to college in Springfield. I can totally relate to your heat/humidity implications. I grew up in hay country. Hauling hay was no fun chore with humidity numbers like that. Hope to meet up with you someday and talk some MO talk.

thanks again, what a find. You know I told my dear old mom about "meeting people online" She was not amused.
I've reassured her that everyone one we've met has been awesome.

KC twice a week - I'm sorry- I look at their weather everyday to remind me just how much it sucked. We had lots of friends and family there. Now they have a great place to visit.

Color code- it may be in the VIN, I'll do a little research on that.

KC BBQ- While it is awesome. Most of us make our own anyway, "It's a moral imperative"

China Wall- that was a blast!

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Paint code is

Dodge PB3 - Intense Blue, Pearl Coat

We love the color. We had to replace the entire front clip and hood after a drunk driver hit us head on (glancing blow) while we were waiting to take a left turn. Ouch "Midnight Carnage" went on the windshield when we finally got it back together.
