OK...so I know a bunch of you guys (and gals) went sky diving for the first time Sunday because I was invited along. If you didn't get turned to paste(:D), how about filling us all in?

Fred(DETN8R), Adam(94ToyBear), Aaron(my neighbor) and a bunch of their friends went for tandem jumps this last weekend and someone was supposed to have done a video. Plus, I bet there were a lot of pictures taken!

Yikes! I know some people who have done that. NO WAY I'm jumpin' out of a plane! My daughter was going to do it with a friend of hers. Her friend actually went through with the plan... My Casey (not so much...:D)

It's all good. Everyone lived! I can't wait to see pics!

Skydiving is the very last item on my bucket list! :D

Well, I guess that Adam and Fred have all the pictures and the video is in the mail. Aaron, my neighbor, stopped by a little while ago and said they all had a blast. I guess we will all have to wait for the pics...

And what is the absolute worse that can happen when you jump out of a plane? About the worse that can happen climbing. You simply splatter....at least 97% of the time...

I guess that's one way to go... (kinda messy). I'm hoping for the "old, gray-haired lady exit". You know...snoring in her sleep and then.... no more snoring. That's what I want!

Thus the very last item on my bucket list!

While in Maui a jump instructor with 12,500 hours died after a mid-air collision knocked him unconscious and he didn't have an emergency chute to automatically open.

You guessed it, now someone has introduced legislation to make it mandatory to have the emergency chute regardless of your experience level. The government really does want to protect us from ourselves.

I was army infantry, never jumped, had the chance one time but declined, as chinooks have a rep of just falling out of the sky lol
Id LOVE to sky dive, but hear its pretty spendy, yes, Id have to waer a pair of Depends lol and want someone to video tape my jump, as Ill either have my eyes closed or be crying like a little birl, lmao

I finally got some pictures from Aaron who lives up the street from me and is friends with Adam(94ToyBear) and Fred(DETN8R). Got to see the video, too. If the smile on Aaron's face (which now seems permanent) is any indication, they had a gas.

The first photo is of Aaron, his girlfriend, Adam and Fred. The rest are self explanatory....

Skydiving is the very last item on my bucket list! :D

The day I jump (more like get thrown) out of a plane I'll be wearing a Superman costume. If the main and secondary chutes fail the folks on the ground will have something interesting to watch for a couple of seconds.  :lmao:
