Ladies Run at Bill Moore Lake

I guess we got home first (miracle?) so here we go:

The run was a success! we had lots of great people and great rigs.
Met at safeway as planned and went up to the trail. Met with Neversummeriam (http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/member.php?872-Neversummeriam) at the trail head for total of 7 rigs.
This was my sisters' (Katies)first off road driving experience ever! she's always been the passenger. I think her and all the other ladies did absolutely great. It was really nice not worrying about breaking down haha

I would like to also add that there were absolutely no tow straps involved. She only had a problem 2 times on some washouts where she was losing traction. a minute of our time to spot her and we were on the way. Thanks to everyone who helped spotting ! :D

Videos are uploaded at BluGnat. There are nine, I think...and I think I labeled them all "Bill More Lake" with the date and a number (I hope). Still working on pix. Today was a blast!! I really like that trail! Except for the rock that tries to suck rear ends against it. It's like a tractor beam coming out of that thing. Everyone did great, and I hope they'll consider booting husbands/boyfriends/brothers out of the drivers' seats more often! The views were incredible. Chris and the boys and I haven't been on that trail before today, and I'm so glad to have experienced it. Definitely looking forward to doing it again. It was really cool that there's parking for the truck and dirtbike (Jackie!!). We DID have some trail damage, though...Nick rolled around on the ground with his dirtbike some, and got a decent sized bump and scrape on his back from the rocks. He had a blast, anyway. Photos coming ASAP...

Glad you all had fun! Next time do the Mill Creek Loop with it. It's a fun and very tight loop. :D

i think if we go on that trail again, it will be in my jeep and not my sisters'. its amazing what a few tire sizes and few more inches of suspension can do!

Oh, and one of my favorite parts of the day. Saw this first in Idaho Springs on the way out, but fumbled my phone and couldn't get a pic. Lo and behold they (surprise, surprise) passed us (because I'm slow) on I-70, so Nick got pix:

Looks like you guys had a blast! Congrats to the ladies that took the wheel! You-go-girls! Great job! That's a fun trail. Was it cold up there today? I remember needing my ski-jacket and full coverage on everything else (Bugs weren't a problem when I ran it).

thats cool that everything turned out amazingly. Kinda sucks I couldn't go got stuck at work doing a 11 to 8 shift. Bleh really wanted to see katie out on her first time. and psh 4 door, 2 door way to go!! weld the backs shut be cool come on hahaha that;s what i say now :P

killed it. Almost stockers, going up bill Moore,
strapless. Way to go Katie!! I agree we should do
of these kind of runs. Lots of fun watching the ladies
get muddy and climb on rocks. Thanks everyone for a safe

Yes there were THREE of these almost identical cars parked behind Beau Jo's Pizza in Idaho Springs yesterday, remember it distinctly, and at like 7am when I was leaving for work!
