oooooh..that looks like fun! I have to post what we do each year when we go down to Florida for softball...hardest part..is you have to pull the "cord" when you get to the top. I never can make myself be on that side LOL Oh..and it seems like it takes FOREVER to get to the damn top!

Hopefully this isn't considered :hijack:
:D

that's cool!! when I lived in South Beach there was a place a little north that had one of those, along with bungi jumping and a climbing wall, but it went out of biz after a year. it was scary!!

Just like wheelin', faith in your equipment, faith in the people that set it up. Way cooool. I've hung from 23 stories and that's a blast to.

The one at Elitches was easy.

That'd be a blast if I had any balance. I probably couldn't even stand up.

No way I'm going over the edge unless someone pushes me. But does look like fun if you're not afraid of pancaking.:D

I have seen that before and every time I watch it, my feet and hands sweat a little. Screw up there and you have a few seconds to think about what you did wrong before going SPLAT!

Pretty sweet day job to me. Stay in reasonable shape, nice views, a little exercise. Rather do the same thing on rocks than anything man made, though. After the first 1,000 feet, everything pretty much looks the same anyway.

I think I'd wear a chute to work every day.

That way when it was time to go home you could get there in a hurry.

Ah...probably why you're not doing that kinda work! Like iron workers, rock/ice climbers, parachutists, etc...anyone that works or plays in high places.... if you don't have the death and dying from falling sorted out, you need to be doing something else...and wisely so...Been doing technical climbing for 40+ years...

No, I just think it'd be fun to base jump from the top when you're done for the day. I'm a glazier so I'm accustomed to heights. Maybe a bit too much. If it's time it's time. What you do for fun sounds like a blast, I just need to get in shape. Well' better shape.

That's crazy. x100 on the base jump at the end of the day!! The free climbing part is really nuts, can't believe OSHA goes for it. even if it was slow as heck I'd still keep attaching the safety line.
