So, I finally sold my truck. I ended up with a 2006 Jeep Commander. I know, it isn't the ideal off-roading machine, but 95% of the year it is a city driver, so the 3rd row seating was the kicker. I just got new tires and a 2" lift, so that will help with future adventures!

This was my first trip to Moab, so I didn't drive anything too technical, however Shafer Trail and White Rim Road can be a little intense if shelf roads aren't your thing. I wanted to see how the slickrock driving is supposed to be done, so I took a Hummer tour on Hell's Revenge. Here are a few photos from my first Moab experience. I'm looking forward to many future trips!

YEAH! The swithbacks on Schafer trail can get the fabric tucked up in your cheeks pretty tight if you're not fond of heights (or ledges)! Absolutley beautiful! I just screamed and kept on driving!!!
