Just a quick note to let folks know that we are going to be gone from tomorrow through 10/11. We are going down to New Mexico for the balloon festival. Don't know what we are going to be renting for a heap, but maybe we can swap junk for a day, grab a rental Jeep, and do some wheeling. At the moment the plans are to just take in the sights, do a little hiking and exploring and relax.

Last time I was down that way all we (me and some buddies) did was a bunch of technical rock climbing in the Sandias...Nice, but not worth a separate trip down there to climb...

Maybe I can grow some much needed skin back on my hands not working for a week...

Have fun Pete! I hope we can hook up when we are down there if I can ditch the family. The balloon festival is the most photographed event in the world. Bring lotsa film or a big memory card!

Us too. We were supposed to go down for the weekend. Our babysitter bailed on us, though.
