I got home yesterday afternoon from the best trip out to Moab. Eight trails, only shut down once (by Rose Garden Hill) and some minor damage. The trails? Kane Creek Canyon, Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim, Steel Bender, Sevenmile Rim, Top of the World and Strike Ravine. Not too shabby for a mostly stock Jeep.

Golden Spike took a little work. The winch cable came out two times. Somewhere along the trail (probably in the Golden Crack) I lopped into my C.B. antenna wire with the back bumper and also popped the license plate mounting bracket off.

Steel Bender had a couple hairy down hill spots along the way. I crossed paths with a good number of puzzled looking mountain bikers on SB. One guy asked, “Where’s your lift and big tires?” My reply, “Appears I don’t need them.” I guess that one really angered the rock gods. Not long after that I managed to crush the steering stabilizer on a boulder...ha ha It had to come off to finish the trail.

The only other no bueno moment was on Strike Ravine. One of the TPMS valve stems got destroyed while navigating through a tight spot.
