Just saw an ad on 'Mud for a FJ43 and it got me curious.
What is an FJ43 you say? Basically the same truck as a FJ40, but with ~20" more length (and they were mainly sold in Colombia)
Googled, it and saw this video for a 500HP FJ43 that was built for Sema a couple years back. ICON makes some pretty sweet rides.

Jon said it! Man, that thing is sweet. Of course anything with 500 hp is usually pretty good in my book...

To bad they're aluminum. They'll never rust.

They do build some neat stuff, I want to see how much they are going to be charging for the repro early Broncos.

If the $70-80k price tag they hang on the FJ40s are any indication, I think you can bet that the tag on the Broncos is going to be $70-80k or close to it.
I have a **** load of other things that I can use $70-80k for than some dumb toy, no matter how nice.

7-10x too much probably! ICON charges an arm an a leg it seems, and i am not overly sure it can be justified to be honest.I know a lot of work goes into them and such, but a full restro on an EB isnt to pricey in comparison.

They'll never rust.
Which means they'll never have the character of a classic Land Cruiser. :)

The first time I saw ICON at SEMA I was floored at how meticulously the FJ40 I was looking at was put together. Very much a quality product.
