when I was in San Diego a few days ago, it was all over the news that there were whales hanging out not too far from the coast. The coast guard was warning people to stay away, but they had a clip of about 30 surfers and kyak-ers hanging around right where they were jumping to try and get a close veiw. This looks like one of those incidents.

Talk about being in the belly of the beast, that'd sure put ya there. People ain't to bright. They're cool to watch, but it'd take nothing for one to kill you dead just by landing on you, let alone swallow you.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

A number of years ago, we got almost this close to the whales as they were breaching off the coast of Cape Breton Island. We were in what started off as a pretty good sized whale boat. As soon as the first whales breached really close to us, that whale boat became the size of an inner tube. Those bastards are huge!

I can't say too much about the person on the board. I would have been out there, too. You simply don't see **** like that that close every day.

Also, there are some strange damn creatures running around under the water that you really do need to be aware of, like this guy. I think I saw him or a relation when we were in Aruba, it brushed my foot as I was dangling it off the boat.
