Hey Chris or Bill, do you know if the balance beam is going to be there this year? One of my friends bugs me about it from time to time.

Balance beam? ****, I fall off the curb.

No way would I be able to drive my heap on a balance beam....

You, however, can probably drive your rig onto it and balance it...

I asked one of the organizers, and he said that a new scale will be there, and I believe for a small fee, you can weigh your rig, and the ramp will be there again this year. I got nothin about a balance beam.....

I think the last time was maybe 06. I took my CJ5 up it (snow/ice covered) and got it to balance.

We are new to the club but we are planning to be there -- always wanted to do one of these! We'll head for the Sears/S. Wadsworth starting point unless we're advised of a better place -- we'll be coming down 285 from the mountains. Bunyon & Babe
