Mini 4x4 - this one has only one seat

I imagined that Benz was a Unimog concept so I Googled it and sure enough:

It's a cool concept in regards to the way they kept true to the clearance of the original, but the designers should be pulled out back and severely beaten for putting those blingie wheels on it.

Yeah, I agree with Jock, too, except will go far as to say shitcan everything except the chassis and drivetrain, and then start over....

Here is a picture on my ex neighbor's Camaro on a Blazer chassis with a big block and me doing an quickly winter run in a field down the street from my house a few years ago. Before the Chevy fans get tweaked, he mated two trashed Camaros, one rear end damaged and one front end damaged to get this. I also looked at a very clean ElCamino on a Blazer or short bed Chevy frame at Home Depo the other day. This thing was so clean, it looked factory.

Awhile ago, Monster Burb and I went to Western Auto and saw one of those mini British Fords. The body was nearly perfect. We were talking about how fun it would be to stick it on a 4x4 frame.

Here are some more. I have always been partial to the older classic bodies mounted on 4x4 frames. If I ever get the extra $$ and time, I want to take the Yota body off of my heap and stick on a fiberglass Bantam Roadster body like the one pictured, but 4x4x oriented.

There is very unfriendly ******* that lives around me that drives a white Mustang 4x4 that is pretty nicely done like the one pictured and another guy, who is quite friendly, that has a Camaro 4x.

I am not big on the green either, according to the below link it took it's inspiration from the poison-dart frog, which I guess explains the green. The chassis is based on the U5000 and the open top is a "nod" to the 1951.

Here is a idea I always wanted to build it starts out as a AMC Pacer Wagon and a Jeep Chassis, cut the rear roof off the Pacer make it a 2 seater and paint it flat black with custom flames. My dad actually built it as a model when I was a kid.

I always had a feeling that Pinto wagons were good for something.

Not much, granted, but if you stuff a blown big block and a lot of spare change into one, they look like they rock and roll a little. I had a friend way back when that stuck a 454 into one with some other goodies. The only real problem he had was keeping the front wheels on the ground..

Yeah, same with the Vegas.

I wish I had my old Vega! It was a "panel wagon" - like the station wagon but two door and two seats with steel panels where the side glass would have been.

We had a 72 pinto w/ a fully built 302 that had fender well headers and a narrowed 9" would blow corvettes away, and yes you could not pull away from a light touching the gas without lifting the front tires. Thing was like driving a Matchbox in a tornado, sure would shoot in a straight line too! Too bad my dumbazz brother in law gave the car away after dad let him have it, the new guy blew it up!
