Anyone have a 1 1/2" per foot tie rod taper reamer I can borrow?

I thought that Sean got one of these very recently for the front end stuff he was doing on the Ranger.

I don't have one or you could sure use it.

Sean and Dave,

I just ordered the SAS kit for the wife's S-10 Blazer from Off Road Direct and I need to start getting the HP Dana 30 I've got sitting in the garage ready. I'm going to sleeve it with the Off Road Evolution 44 Magnum sleeve and gusset kit, get the WJ knuckles swapped on with the new ball joints and Chevy unit bearings, set it up to run leaves in the spring over location with Ruff Stuff Dana 30 perches, and run crossover steering on top of the knuckle with Ruff Stuff's GM crossover steering kit that uses offset tie rod ends for the tie rod and hi misalignment drag link ends for the drag link. Dave, since you've done this knuckle swap before I'll be hitting you up for some info. Sean, I 'll be hitting you up to help with caster alignment.

Dave, I need to get WJ lower ball joints, correct? The numbers on the uppers cross match from an XJ, ZJ, and WJ. Lowers are the only ones that don't. What's the difference?

Correct, Uppers are the same, Lowers need to be WJ.

That kit is a good crossover kit, you ought to know as you helped weld mine up! That is fine with helping you set this one up, I look forward to it just let me know when you want the help and I make sure to be there. This Saturday Justin may come by for me to look at his radius arms and get a game plan going on those so we can get them knocked out. But otherwise everything looks open. I have another friend that wants me to set up his perches and weld them up for him but not sure when possibly this coming spring.

Awesome! I'll set you know. When the kit comes in I should be about ready to go. Working on the engine for the big Chevy this week. Need to get it done for the city.
