Found this article that is a couple years old, but good info. Walmart was sued for incorrectly stating the weight of the oil on the bottles. I guess this was specifically for their gear oil.

OOOPPPSSS! Yikes! I would not let Wal-Mart do a tire rotation, I have seen the mechanics, let alone WM f'ing up oil bottles.

Cody (codeXJ) is a WalMart mechanic.. while I have nothing against him, their policies are ridiculus. I brought my jeep for oil change (just cause he works there) and to get my zerks greased.. because the zerks on my driveshafts ended up being on top of it, they weren't able to do it.. I said all it takes is to roll the jeep like half a foot.. they said its against policy.. asked manager and got the same thing. They were also supposed to check tcase fluid.. but they don't own an allen ranch big enough to pop the plug. I don't believe I am the only jeep to ever roll into the shop..

Just ridiculus.. I hate walmart like I hate 4wheel parts..

Absolutely meant no disrespect to Cody!! I was referring to the Evergreen WM, and a few years ago, seeing one of the tech's back a vehicle from the service bay into another parked vehicle.

For sure man, he gets plenty of crap from me on daily basis anyway :smokin:

But the truth is, he's the only reason I showed up there in the first place.. prior to that, I stripped a lug nut in an audi A3.. went to the same walmart and the lunatic there kept saying oh yeah we will torque in a new one.. (I bought a new one) I said it needs tap and dye.. it probably won't just screw on.. are you sure u can get it? "Oh yeah, we will torque it on for you" a few min later I see them wrestling the thing and sure enough strippin the only lug nut I found in town on a Sunday afternoon..

They are usually not the brightest people ever.. Cody excluded

Ahhhhh....I can make no comment on this. I have lived in the same house (without moving the garage) for 4 years. Two weeks ago I managed to back my heap into the side of the garage, thus making a 'new project' I certainly didn't need. LaDawn is still a bit pissed and Chris (the Younger) wasn't helping much yesterday when he was sticking band aids (kid's band aids, no less) and pieces of tape over the damage.....This after having LaDawn do a "Look at what numbnuts did to the side of the garage" thing....
