Very interesting. I wonder what the honeycomb is made out of? and its resistance to side impacts.

I remember watching something on discovery about that (not on a humvee though). Pretty cool though.

Very interesting. But it looks like they can only do 50 MPH which would be a draw back for most of us. But very cool concept and worth keeping eyes on!

do they have anything that actually covers the side? I would think the first good, thick mud puddle would clog them up, not to mention throw them WAY out of balance.

These were on the Military channel last year as a new equipment that is being tested for the military. I do not recall what they stated for materials used but there only concern at the time was side wall flex over time breaking the material down. Pretty neat test they put them threw.
