Woohoo! Today's a good day! A few of you know I've had some health issues since my lung blood clot on our Spring run in Moab, pneumonia, diabetes, and other crap. The big one was the cause of the clot which either happens spontaneously or is caused by a cancer.
I've been cleared of all cancers, my sugar level is below diabetes level and life is good!

Thanks friends, Happy to be where I am and that I'm not limited to fraternal genes! My father was the longest living on his side and died at 60 so the trend has been broken.
Yes heather, I can come out and play now! :D
Off to Manitou Springs for a weekend with kids and grandkids!

That is amazing, I'm very happy for you!! You must feel great, that's a big weight off your shoulders. We just lost a family member a couple of months ago to small cell lung cancer and in the process found out that the sugar is one of the keys, cancer cells eat simple sugar, not protien or fat; so you've not only avoided it now, but probably prevented it down the road by cutting back on the sugar. :thumb:
