I ran across this site looking for spring information and ended up finding a nice bit of axle info.

Just want to say THANKS to the Hawaii 4 wheelers on Bent Frame 4x4!

They seem to be based out of Oahu. Maybe Chris will have more incentive to visit there the next time he and Barb end up in Hawaii!

I signed up simply to say thanks for the axle info and to give them a link to the TECH info on this site. I doubt I'll ever go back to the site. I have enough stuff going on with this site and my email so that I don't usually bother doing anything more than this with other forums...

I'll be surprised if wheeling comes to mind very much when we're there. If we spend a lot of time there and can afford island hopping it may but that's simply not probable.

There are some guys out there that have some nice rigs. And honestly, not that many places to wheel. If ya want to wheel, there are adventure places that rent side by sides and 4 wheelers.

I saw trucks leaving one trail in Maui but wasn't able to stop and talk to them. Looked like 6 trucks, well-lifted, w/o a straight panel.

Chris has been practicing with this, just in case they can't find a 4x4. This picture was taken in the field near where he and Barb live. It is a little bit sad to see in some respects, especially when you can hear the "VRRRROOM! VVVVRRRROOOOM!" sounds that Chris makes from hundreds of feet away:
