Here is an idea for Chris' new avatar. He was caught on film practicing with his new 'off road walker' recently:

the suspenders really should be attached to the frame.
So I saw Chris' Founder thing by his name- Chris started FR4x4? This is all his fault?

Yes, he is the actual 'Founder' and kudos to him! He passed the Admin on to Andrew last year, who is also doing a great job!
You are right on the suspenders, if for nothing else, a geriatric safety precaution.:lmao:
And, hell, turn about is fair play. Look at what happened to my avatar over the last couple of weeks with people 'having fun' and having no respect for a sensitive person's feeling..

Right across the street from the whale sanctuary Jon. Not the place Barb preferred but much more affordable, smaller and ready to live in. In other words I got my way. :D

One caution, make sure everyone's good friends because it's just over 500 sq ft including the balcony. :smokin:

Thought twice about saying lanai, didn't want to confuse anyone.

This isn't the fixer Pete, this is a little studio that's been remodeled. Bummer, huh!

Are you kidding me, we're already confused, everyone of us.:D:D
Chris
December 20th, 2011, 09:09 PM
I should have said I didn't want to add to everyone's confusion. :erm:
But now I realize people here call them lanais too. At least the last place I lived did which I found kind of irritating. Right along the lines of poodle trimming bushes. I don't get that but figure it's probably something adopted to convince people that Denver is a sophisticated city rather than a cow town. :lmao:
Popsgarage
December 20th, 2011, 09:26 PM
Nah, still a cow town, just have a few resident Hawaiian's. And I don't mean myself, sadly enough. You'll have a blast there even if all of us don't come over to bug ya. Maui's a friendly place.
Chris
December 20th, 2011, 10:35 PM
Yeah, we've spent enough time there to feel at home. Kihei is my kind of town, pretty much working class with the best beaches on the island. Lahaina, tourist town where people don't make eye contact, Paia a bit too flaky though I would have loved it 40 years ago and Wailea right door to lure the petty thieves away. :D
We love Colorado when it's warm so this place will be available for anyone wanting to save money on a Maui vacation when we're not there.
