Had a JK8 conversion come in today to get some carpet on the rear wall before it goes to the showroom floor. Snapped a couple pics, I'll get a few more once we are done with it.

Those are pretty cool. Something they never should have gotten rid of!

I may be alone on this but I am not a fan :)

I like the look, but I'd rather have an old FJ45.

I agree, but it's still cool to have one in the shop.

Oh, no question. :thumb: It would be cool to take one out on a trail, too.

Not floating my boat - but pretty interesting. I'd love to try it out on a trail.

Never should have stopped making the J series. Thanks for the pictures!

Both of my J-20's are in heat!:lmao: It is a shame you have to ruin a perfectly good 4 door to accomplish the JK8. It would be cool to build one up and wheel.

Thanks for the pics Dave, I see where there is a lot of room for improvements on the design.

What's CDOT going to do with that? Looks like it only sleeps two. :D

lol Kory...I don't like the total look at it right off the floor. New bumpers, lift, tires, tire carrier, wheels..just to start..but do like the idea of a little storage room :) Soft top it too :) hehe

You could put new bumpers, lift, tires, tire carrier, wheels and any other accessory on and and I would still think it's fugly. :p

It reminds me of that Subaru wagon they turned in to a wagotruck thing. blah :)

They need to do something with the cab behind the door to smooth out the looks. Still cool to see.
