Anyone else see this? I had my camera, but it was in the back of the Jeep. Both Bren and I had to detour around this area yesterday when we were going back to his shop from the cabinet job we were working on. The water was squirting up about 6-8" from the holes in the manhole covers, University was closed as was the eastbound Buchtel. There was up to a foot of water flowing west on Buchtel trying to find it's was down to the Platte. I thought it pretty entertaining...

Wow, that was flowing for a while! We drove down University at 6:15 last night. Had to detour onto Buchtel. Luckily we had to go west which was our intended direction. The water was over the sidewalks and flowing like a river down one side of Bucktel. The west bound was starting to freeze over at that point. Luckily we were in the Subaru with 4 studded snows.

I need to dig into this. The city of Denver just eliminated a lot of storm sewer drains all throughout that neighborhood this past summer. The first thing I thought was WTF are they thinking/doing?!?!?!? Mother in law lives right by there too.
