Everyone will break one or two at some point, especially when wheeling as it stresses everything to the breaking point. Most damaged studs are due to improper torque. They get loose, the wheel gets loose and the next thing you feel is a bad wobble or see your tire rolling down the road. This is one of the things that I always check, torque and recheck as the consequences can be very bad, especially at speed.
