Almost every Snow outing I've been on someone has torn off a Brake line including myself yesterday. Driving home with 1 front brake is hair raising at best.
Here's a part listed by a friend of mine that makes for a cheap trail repair- Factory Chevy soft lines. They are about 25 inches long. And about 13-15 bucks at the parts store. Stock TJ brake lines are 18 inches.
Makes a nice upgrade or trail spare.
PN#'s
- Auto Sense: BH177760 - Wagner: F116846 - Midas: 2201- Auto Zone: 77760
Oreilly has them but they are shorter and R/L specific
This brake line fits several different vehicles!
Wish I'd had one yesterday.
