Putting on a armored diff cover; its a dana 60 w/ an ARB; are there any special additives you have to put in w/ the gear oil as with a limited slip??? never had an air locker b4 as to why the question:wrench:

as far as i know its just a locker run by air pressure and reg gear oil works.......i think the only one that is ever different is anything with clutches (some limited slips)

thats just my 1cent though as i dont know much about ARBs

I have double ARBs in my heap most of the time(currently running a spooled V6 rear instead of the Taco ARB'd one). I have run the front for 6-7 years and have just used regular gear oil. Using a gear oil specifically designed for a locker shouldn't make a difference, but you will be fine with just the off the shelf stuff.Watch the fill level, though as the ARBs do not being too full or too low...even with the fill plug is good.
