Between that style and the Commando, those are favorite Jeep 'styles'. I am also a fan of the FC and have always wanted to take just the body and tub and stick it on something like my Yota chassis. Too bad jeep/Willys managed to pretty much butcher everything except the different body on those. I guess I have liked those because of the ugly duckling look....
Thanks, Paul!
Here is a pictures of the FC in case no one knows what they are:

Very cool. Always loved those. There was a brown one with orange stripes that a student owned when I was in high school. Used to love looking at it as I was walking home every day.

Two spares for two different lug patterns- check out the first 2 and last picture, his model 20 is gone, looks like maybe a 12 or 14 bolt? Probably came from the same truck as the rear seat!

14 Bolt or D60 rear and the factory front D30. Kinda need 2 spares for sure!

That would be cool. I like the LJs better than the CJ8s just for the newer stuff (drivetrain, suspension, body, pretty much everything), but I think the older ones have more character. It's just impossible to find a good one for a reasonable price. With any luck the LJs will become as ridicuously overpriced one day.

Love those old FCs and also that old Divco Milk truck next to it. Now that Divco would make an awesome expidition rig!

I could see it being a Scout or Bronco 44 front too... but it's probably exactly what you said. Guess he's not screwing around with the rear axle anymore, with those tires that'll last forever.
