Favorite today...I'm really into HBG as they're one of the bands who've taken over where Waylon, Coe, Cash, etc... left off. Sunday Valley is just a killer band, great music, great guitar, and just solid all around.

This is a great song and the lyrics are IMO very powerful. A good song sounds good. A great song sounds good and has meaningful lyrics. :)
"It's funny how it's the little things in life
That mean the most
Not where you live or what you drive
Or the price tag on your clothes
There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind
This I've come to know"
"Salute the ones who died
The ones that give their lives
So we don't have to sacrifice
All the things we love"

They're real good, and play most weekends at bars across the denver metro area and other towns across the state. It would be cool to listen to one of their gigs and have a meet and greet.

I think I mentioned him along with The Fugs way back on one the early posts. I saw The Mothers of Invention live and remember Zappa going:" ALRIGHT People! Now we are going to play a song for you called Dead Air!". Then the band put down their instruments, grabbed something to drink, fired up a smoke, got comfortable and watched the audience. I loved it...
