Honda pilot motor mounts

My mother just had her oil changed and the techs told her that two of her motor mounts are cracked and the transmission mount is going to go soon on her 2006 Honda pilot, she feels like it is a sales ploy but we are looking into it further anyway. I haven't done much research into if this is a common problem yet, but I was wondering if anyone on here has experienced this on a Honda or knows someone who had the problem.



Also I have never tried to figure out if motor mounts are cracked, is the best method visual inspection, or are they going to be some telltale signs that they are cracked while driving?
