After almost a year of waiting, I got a job.

I am now employed by a contracting company for Hitachi Data Systems, a competitive network storage company.

But the best news of all: this is going to make the project go much, much faster.

The job will be very demanding of my time, so I'm taking advantage of the next couple weeks to tear the truck down to frame.

Which brings my next subject...

I need my frame and cab repaired. Floor pans are gone (along with front body mounts) and frame has a 8" section in dire need.

I also plan on doing chevy 63's for the rear.

Anyone with interest/suggestions, please feel free.

Shoot Pete a PM on the 63's or search the make and model links. Frame and body might be right up his alley as well.

Shoot me a PM. I can help with stuff on both the frame and body. I did a very similar repair for CR's old body mounts awhile back and it came out really stout. There was pretty much nothing holding the cab on when I started....

Shoot me a picture of the frame damage/area:

Happy that you found a job!
