If you wanted a good wheeler, you already have one....and one that is the equal to Dave Pritchett's $40k rig, but you don't have to worry about body damage on...that you paid $7k for. You are going to be hard pressed to find another rig for the same price that is built like what you have..

Just seems strange reading the "for sale" listing....Me, I am happy when my rig is running and I don't have to do anything to it except maintenance....I don't need a "project vehicle" ...although that goes without saying..You own a 4x that you wheel, you are guaranteed a "project rig".....

I have a great wheeling rig that I have to tow to trails, seats two people when I have a family of 4, Heather can't follow if we take both Jeeps because hers isn't as capable, and if I go on trails she can do, then I'm bored the majority of the time.

Would converting yours back to 4-passenger help the picture? It's probably not too difficult (nor costly) to sell off the fuel cell and go back to a standard fuel tank (though I don't know what the underside is like). Spare tire relocated to a tailgate carrier?

There is no way. His gas tank is in the tub, the wheelbase was stretched (which is why tank is up there). So he would basically have to take his jeep to stock to make it 4 ppl jeep again

Bummer Chris. I really like your Jeep, especially the color! IMO the Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee is the family wheeler. I am sure you have already considered it but, you could get vehicle about the same capability of Heathers. Look forward to seeing you on the trail in whatever rig gets you there!
