I would think with all the car guys on here, and all the young, hip girls and guys, and old cool ladies and gentlemen, someone would like to know about the Atomic Drifters and the Golden Super Cruise. Sweet rides and fast rockabilly at the Lakewood Bar and Grill.

I went to that cruise last year. My uncle would drive his 68 camaro and my dad would drive his bugs. I had a great time.

Now that my work schedule has finally changed to having weekends off I can go to these events!

That is a SWEET Camaro.

I found this browsing CL and though it looks awkward, I like it. Two of the same model for sale right now.

I know, I should not be looking at car ads! Two out of the four cars in the family need tires and I just bought airplane tickets to California, all of which could buy me one of the Chryslers, if I were the irresponsible type.

And waitress-induced shots of Crown? LOL! I don't know anyone there to ply me with drinks so I think we are safe. I hope you can make it. Cool cars in the lot, that's for sure.

I have both jobs Saturday, however I will see if I can "swing" by for the night activities!

Super bummed. Chris drilled all day today, was up super early, and has to do it all again in the morning - no car show for us. :frown: Hope those that go take lots of pix! Have a blast, Stephanie!!!

They will play again, and as the summer goes on, there will be more cars out too. :)

That pic is AWESOME!!! It looks like it was taken at Arnold's by Fonzie.

It was taken at Rockabillies in March. The Atomic Drifters were playing. The guy singing is Michael, an outstanding dancer who also can belt out a bitchin' "La Bamba". The band has him do that song when he is in attendance.
The pic below is of the band, sans the stand up base player. Couldn't get that in the shot and it is a crappy phone picture. The Dodge belongs to the lead singer. I love his car.
