What do people use for door latches on TJ / LJ tube doors? I found a few things...

Amazon.com: AutoLoc BCLG Large Locking Bear Claw Door Latch Set: Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/AutoLoc-BCLG-Large-Locking-Latch/dp/B000BTK9V0)

this guy cut 1/4 of the eye off a bolt and put some washers and a spring on it. Kinda butch, but the idea is good.

okay i dont know exactly what ur tube doors look like but why not use a latch from the reg steel door?????? as far as i know they still use a little assembly that is bolted into place that you could bolt or weld to the tube door and would be like factory and hold tight.............i am thinking of my old style with a big "pin" on the body doorframe.....maybe urs is different ??

Here are some likes for door latches. The most common are the Bear Jaw style and the Slam Latch style:

don't have them yet, just lining up the ducks. the striker on a TJ looks like a small squared off u-bolt with the points of the U facing the rear of the jeep, and the U is horizontal.
