I'm shopping for carrier bearings, for the axle I'm putting in my wife's station wagon. I can get the Motive Gear master kit from NAPA, with mystery bearings: Part Number: BK 3353987 (http://napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?A=BK_3353987_0359402039&An=599001+101987+50038+2038004+502003+502999+28008&Ar=AND(P_RecType%3aA))

Anyone have experience with this set?

What axle it it? I might have a set of new carrier bearings for a C8.25 laying around. They're yours if you want them (and if I can find them).

It's that D-44 I've had sitting around. Thanks for the offer, Dave!

I found I can order the set with Timken bearings through Advance Auto Parts. I still get to seed my local economy, deal face to face, and spend cash. :)
