Hello all,

We all love to wheel. That is why we are members of this great forum. We love to get outdoors, take in the mountain air and enjoy ourselves in places which, with any luck no cell phone coverage :) Colorado is a great place to live and all year round there are things to do outside. I love camping, hiking, biking, swimming, ATVing and yes, wheeling.

FR4x4 is about wheeling. If there is anything you want to know about wheeling, working on your rig, what places to go and not go, etc, this is the place that I go. I love FR and you are all like my family.

However, as mentioned above, I love to do other stuff as well and would love to chat with like minded folks about that. But I don't want to join 20 forums to do it. That is why we have created a new place you can go in addition to FR to talk about ALL of the thinks you love to do outdoors... Go take a look... You'll notice much of the same rules and atmosphere you enjoy here at FR but with much more of a broad focus. Shot gun vs Sniper if you will (and yes there is a shooting section over there).

We're brand new. There will be bugs to work out. However, I'd like to make the FR gang the first set of folks we invite over to test the place out and seed the forum with all the things you love to do. Make suggestions. Try and break it. Thats the goal.

By the way, I made this post with Chris's blessing :)

Things are going well. We've added a section for camping recipes. Let's see if we can get it filled up!

Aaron, you just recently demoted yourself here due to not having the time. Now you have a new forum. What gives?

Yep, what Brad said. I laughed simply because you called Aaron on his "lack of time" but it's really not an issue, he'll have Jock doing the frustrating time-consuming stuff. :D

Yeah, the fact that I'm not the only HMFIC on HnG means that we can split the time it takes to run the joint.

The other main reason I flew the coop was I am doing less of the big tire wheeling these days. I have been out on the ATVs a few times this year, been fishing, hiking, and a ton of camping.

I still love this group but think my involvement was better as a member than someone in charge. Make sense?
